ILR - how to get?

Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) is an indefinite visa granted to non-British citizens who are already living in the UK on a temporary visa. It provides the visa holder with the right to remain in the UK permanently, as well as access to public services and healthcare, and the right to work and study in the UK.

For those who wish to apply for ILR, the following steps should be followed:

1. Submit a completed application form.

2. Provide any valid passport, birth certificate and other documents requested.

3. Pay the application fee.

4. Pass the Life in the UK test.

5. Demonstrate knowledge of the English language.

6. Provide proof of continuous residence in the UK.
